Dr. David Metcalf appointed to Adobe's Education Board
November 2008, David Metcalf was selected as an advisory board member for Adobe. Specific areas of interest include eLearning and mLearning as well as Web 2.0 and collaboration capabilities. Long-term strategic focus on learning, education and performance will help guide and shape overall direction for the value of learning and its relation to new tools and features over the next 5-10 years.

Dr. Metcalf Wins Faculty Excellence Award
David Metcalf was selected as one of the faculty excellence award program winners at Walden University. His project to explore mobile learning and podcasting techniques that can be easily integrated into the online classroom earned him a cash award in the inaugural offering to promote research efforts by Walden Faculty. "It is my high hope that the outcomes of this initiative will further mission of Walden to provide world-class education and enhance the experience with new digital media techniques," says Metcalf.

CLO Institute appoints Dr. David Metcalf as Faculty and Advisory Board Member
Dr. Metcalf was recently appointed to both the faculty of the CLO Institute and as an advisory board member. "We've been working together for a year, developing and piloting programs, now we make it official," said Dr. Metcalf. The program is going to be practical and teach the business skils necessary for CLOs and those aspiring to the top learning positions in their organization. We'll also be doing practicum portfolio projects as part of the certification process.
